Storyboard versus Animation

An example of a storyboard and how it translates to the final animation.

Storyboards are an important part of the the animation process.  They are created to provide the template for all the models environments and action that will be captured in the animation process.  When working with a client they are a vital part of understanding  the clients vision for the project.  This part of the process can take some time but it is well worth spending the time here.  Props, environments and action can be mapped out rapidly and agreed.

Past this point changes can add significant additional time to the project.
